Duncan's love for photography came out of two experiences. First, when he was 7 years old, his father rented a Kodak insta-camera from Disneyland and he fell in love with creating images. His second came when he visited Hiroshima, Japan(his mother's birthplace). They visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and after being exposed to the impact of war, although he didn't know it then, it shaped his view on life and his curiosity for the journey. His publishing career started in High School with a football photo published in the O.C. Register(1994). In Jr. College, Duncan was published time and time again for his coverage of Orange County and their sports teams, the Anaheim Angels and Ducks(95-98). In 1998 he entered Art Center College of Design and graduated in April 2001. His career in photography has already spanned two decades and now includes such accolades as producing and directing video commercials and mini-documentaries.
