When u need stabilized footage on 360 cameras and you couldn't get it at Samys camera's...make your own! I made this design back in August 2016 for my Kodak sp360 cameras. Now that they are main stream and the gimbal designs are coming out I figure why not share my design from 6 months ago. It's an Alexmos 32 bit controller with a separate battery compartment where u can detach the gimbal and attrach it to anything you can think of because it has a 1/4 inch screw on the bottom. Just use any normal connector from the old mac days and you can extend it 8ft when using a 4s Lipo. This gimbal does not need extra ballast weights because the carbon fiber rods allow for the weight to be evenly spread at the middle. Light and compact you can separate it in travel. It took 4 months to develop and runs on 3s or 4s battery with Bluetooth connection. Very sturdy. It could also be used for 3D projects as well and can be adapted to any camera combination u can think of that would balance on the gimbal. Also it will go inverted. Built to take on heavy rigs even GoPros. #kodaksp3604k #360vr #360 #360vrvideo #360frontal #kodak #vrgimbal #Alexmos #gimbal #sp360 #sp3604k #360rumors #gopro #kodakpixpro #kodakpixpro360 #kodakpixprosp360 #pixpro
Got into shooting 360, I realized quickly I needed a gimbal, so I made one...

I was asked by a client regarding 360 video and for the past 4 months have been working and finished an alexmos gimbal for 360VR, it includes the operator sort of in the shot, but I think it could be utilized interestingly and or retouched out.
Here are some Instagram details of my 360 gimbal with the Kodak SP360 4K cameras.
Here are blog posts of the many different itmes I've had to build in order to get the jobs done the right way.
